Compounds, RC(=O)NHOH, derived from oxoacidsRkE(=O)l(OH)m (l ≠ 0) by replacing –OH by –NHOH, and hydrocarbyl derivatives thereof. Specific examples are preferably named as N-hydroxy amides.
