β-Cleavage with concomitant specific transfer of a
γ-hydrogen
atom in a six-membered
transition state in mono-unsaturated systems, irrespective of whether the
rearrangement is formulated by a radical or an ionic mechanism, and irrespective of the position
of the charge.
