silazanes

Saturated silicon-nitrogen hydrides, having straight or branched chains. They are analogous in structure to siloxanes with –NH– replacing –O– , e.g. H3SiNHSiH2NHSiH3 trisilazane. By extension hydrocarbyl derivatives are commonly included.
