A device for
monitoring dust emissions. Also the equipment used to remove and collect dust from process exhaust
gases; this may employ simply
sedimentation (dustfall jars, coated slides, papers, etc.), inertial separation (cyclones, impactors,
impingers, etc.),
precipitation (thermal and electrostatic) or
filtration.
