diffusion battery

An aerosol sizing instrument for particles with diameters below 0.2 µm. The fractionation is based on different diffusivities of the small particles and their deposition on the walls of the long parallel or circular channels, formed by equally spaced plates, bundles of small bore parallel tubes or sets of stainless wire screens.
