Polymer containing ligand groups capable of forming bonds (or other attractive interactions)
between two or more separate binding sites within the same ligand group and a single
atom.
Notes:
- Chelating polymers mostly act as ion-exchange polymers specific to ions that form
chelates with chelating ligands of the polymer.
- See also: chelation.
