Quotient of the catalytic activity of the
isozyme and the catalytic activity of all the isozymes of the same enzyme in the system.
Notes:
- The term catalytic fraction is accepted for use in clinical chemistry.
- The definition is based on the definitions of catalytic activity and fraction.
- The definition also applies to other multiple forms of an enzyme that are not isoenzymes.
